I'm so happy that the Lemonade Hurricane has been so well received. This book baby had a busy 2016. It has won a Maine Literary Award for best children's book and it was also recognized as a Notable Social Studies Trade Books for Young People in 2016 and was also recognized as a Gelett Burgess Honor Book.
I am also very pleased that Lemonade Hurricane is listed as a Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT) resource for youth by the Sheppard Pratt Health System. It's such a wonderful feeling when people not only find something you created to be enjoyable but also useful a useful tool to help them and their children in some way.
