SCBWI Contest




This is a piece I did for the SCBWI illustration contest entitled "Old School, New Year." I'm happy to report that it was one of the winning entries.

The desk looks just like the one I had in elementary school. It had a little hole in the top for a bottle of ink to sit in. They never let us have any ink though - bummer!

Very witty! I especially like the green shoes -- they remind me of a pair a friend of mine had in fifth grade.
