I don't often comment on the obviously professional illustrators to be found here at IF...what can one really say about work that is so flawless? Here, I find your handling of light, dark and shadow so stunningly good that I had to say so. WOW! A perfect illustration, without doubt!
This is great! I can totally relate to it...I was the child who always hated her own birthday parties. This really captures that feeling for me. You have such an excellent technique!
Sometimes surprises that are suppose to be happy don't exactly turn out that way.
