Okay it's not really an illustration but here is the update on the chair that I'm painting for the library auction. It's almost done. Where the large white dots are I want to recess some glass marbles into the wood so it looks more like bubbles. Needless to say I'm going to experiment with some scrap wood before I start drilling holes in the chair.
Here is the back of the... well... the back. I'm now kind of wishing I did the shell on the front side. Oh well...

Gorgeous! Love the colors- very nice work.
Your chair is beautiful, I like the fish on the front.
Too bad I am a long way from Massachusets. I greatly covet this chair.

That is beautiful. Very Pisces.
BEAUTIFUL!! WOW!!
This is gorgeous! I like the shell on the back, but I like the fish on the front. It makes the shell more of a surprise, a treat to find. Beautiful work!
Beautiful piece of art...

What a beautiful chair, really you have done a great work with details and colours. And the shell is great on the back, you just have to keep this chair in the middle of a room.
wow, it's great to see how this project is going. It looks really good - you've done a great job with it!

Looks too beautiful to sit on.
Great job! I have been dabbling in furniture art myself. Have you done much before this?
