Illustration Friday - Thanksgiving

"Over the turnpike and through the tolls to Grandmother's house we go!"

This is a greeting card I did a while back for Great Arrow Graphics. It looks better in real life with gold metallic ink. Great Arrow has a great line of cards of hand silk screened cards, check 'em out at www.greatarrow.com

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I love the simplicity of this! The colors are SO Autumn-y! The scattered leaves and slant of the car really give way to motion and help the car look like it's speeding away to "Grandmother's House". I kind of wanna get swept away in those leaves too! Haha!
