It is a good idea isn't it. I want to mess around with patterns a bit. I tend to hand paint almost everything. Even my entry this week was painted. I want to experiment more with this theme before the next IF theme. Textures and patterns can make illustrations more interesting.
You've got such a way with patterns! They fit seamlessly into your picture and don't distract. This is a great portfolio piece! (What's she making "batwing bread?) :)
