Cricket in Times Square - 5

This is the last cricket post. I just wanted to share the little cricket I added to the top of the mat. The music notes are on a circle of acetate, his feelers are cloth covered florist wire.

Wow, nice touch, it's wonderful. I love the addition of the cricket. It's very clever and it takes it up a notch.

Oh Jennifer, the cricket on acetate is a great idea!! Love it.

I think the cover turned out just great. I've been following your posts and my faves were 8 and 11.

11 had great composition. The title on the street sign really worked BUT I assume the story really takes place in Times Square as the title says, so that is why I think 8 works best. We can truly see all the excitement and how dynamic Times Square can be and more importantly we get a sense of how small the characters are compared to it.

All in all, cover 8 suggest a more dynamic and exciting story than cover 11. I think you went with the right choice choosing 8. :o)

Have fun at the conference!
