Illustration Friday - Clique

Amanda never fit in with the popular girls. To tell the truth she was afraid of them. Even her imaginary friend was afraid of them.

This was a piece I did a while back for a postcard mailing.

This is cool - I love how the legs frame the picture in the foreground. I wish my imaginary friends had been as formidable. Unfortunately they were called Flower and Jelly. (Need I say more?)

my favorite part is the dragon, I understand the topic is about clique's, but what can I say, I just love dragons.
If only I could have a dragon friend of my own, even if it's only in my head lol

Love the style... and the perspective makes those "mean girls" that much more menacing... very nice illo.

Wonderful! Beautifully done and full of emotion. If only Amanda and her friend realized how much more fun they are, they'd be able to let those popular girls know hey're not so cool after all... :-)

Wow, this is a great idea. Poor scared imaginary dragon.
I like the composition, too. You don't need to see the girls clique to be scared of them.
